Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers is doubling down on his push against PFAS chemicals.
The governor on Friday signed an executive order that will mobilize state government to try and find PFAS pollution and study it. PFAS chemicals are found in everything from non-stick cookware to firefighting foam.
The governor already ordered local water treatment centers across Wisconsin to screen for PFAS pollution. His new order takes that further and includes monitoring in fish and other wildlife.
