A new report says Wisconsin is leading the nation in farm bankruptcies.
Wells-Fargo said this week that 45 farms in Wisconsin filed Chapter 12 bankruptcy between July of last year and June of this year. Kansas is second on the list with 39. Wisconsin Democratic U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin blames the uptick in farm closings to the loss of export markets for dairy farmers in the state.
