Bridget German’s friends and neighbors want her to be remembered for more than her death.
A couple dozen people gathered last night at the grocery stores where she worked in Chippewa Falls to remember German on what would have been her 67th birthday. German was one of four people killed in last month’s spree killing in Chippewa County. Her son, Ritchie German Jr., was the triggerman and killed himself. Friends at the vigil last night remembered Bridget German as a kind woman who was always willing to help others.
