Hy-Vee is planning to tear down the old K-mart building in Eau Claire to make way for its planned store.
Reports say the City Plan Commission will meet next Monday to discuss Hy-Vee’s proposal. If approved, a new store will likely be built at the old K-mart location off of Clairemont on around ten acres of land. Demolition is currently scheduled to happen next spring.
