On August 14th, from 8:00am – 5:30pm, children and families came together for a community cause.
Hope Gospel Mission is in need of the remainder of the $1.6 million dollars to renovate the new Hope Renewal Center for Women and Children. All proceeds from this event sponsored by STOKES|HERZOG, Northwestern
Bank, Down to Earth Garden Center, and Olson’s Ice Cream will directly benefit the new facility. Northwestern Bank is matching donations up to $5,000.
“This building will meet an urgent need we have in our community. As many as 400 children are classified as homeless in the Chippewa Valley alone, and we are forced to turn away 3-4 women with children every month because we do not yet have programs in place,” added Sandi Polzin of Hope Gospel Mission.
The Hope Renewal Center For Women and Children will provide a safe, stable home and programs for more single women struggling with homelessness and addiction and will begin services to care for single women with children.
