TUITION FREEZE LAW HITTING THAW?

Wisconsin state lawmakers are considering unfreezing tuition at University of Wisconsin schools.

Tuition has been frozen since 2013 but a Republican-introduced bill would increase tuition each year and cap it no higher than the rate of inflation.  The bill would also lock in the tuition rate students pay their first year for all four years.  However, a majority of lawmakers have been in support of the tuition freeze in the past.
