The man who kidnapped Jayme Closs and killed her parents is now in a New Mexico prison.
A New Mexico Corrections Department employee tells the Las Cruces Sun News that 22-year-old Jake Patterson was transferred from a Wisconsin maximum security prison earlier this month. Patterson was given a life sentence for shooting both of Closs’s parents to death last October and holding the 13-year-old captive in his cabin for almost three months.
