A St. Croix County man is asking for a new trial after his reckless homicide conviction.
A jury found Kayle Fleischauer guilty in June of killing his 19-year-old son last year. Police say Fleischauer was drunk at the time. He claimed his son accidentally shot himself. The judge in the case heard arguments for a new trial yesterday, there’s no word when a ruling will come.
