A Black River Falls man is avoiding jail after pleading no contest to running from officers and operating while intoxicated.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says Jon Peterson was pulled over for drunk driving back in May but he drove off. Peterson reportedly drove through multiple yards before he got stuck and was arrested. Yesterday he had a three-month jail sentence stayed so he won’t serve any time as long as he doesn’t re-offend.
