EYES ON THE ROAD TO AVOID TICKETS FROM THE SKY

Drivers on Highway 29 in Chippewa County will have to pay attention to the skies to keep from getting a speeding ticket today.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the State Patrol will have aircraft in the sky clocking speed on 29 for officers on the ground.  The aircraft can detect people who are speeding or driving recklessly, then tell units on the ground to make a traffic stop.
