An Eau Claire man is going to prison after being convicted of six charges stemming from a police standoff.
A criminal complaint says Nicholas Burr fired a shotgun in the air after an argument with his girlfriend last August. This started a standoff, but Burr gave himself up about an hour later. Burr pleaded guilty in the case back in May and was sentenced yesterday to two years in prison followed by four years of probation.
