A man who thought he was setting-up a date with a 15-year-old boy is agreeing to a plea in Barron County that could send him to prison for up to 40 years.
Prosecutors yesterday said 39-year-old Joseph Matz pleaded guilty to attempted second degree sexual assault of a child. Police say Matz thought he was texting a 15-year-old, but he was really texting an undercover officer. Matz will be sentenced in October.
