A man accused of killing a motorcyclist during a crash in Saint Croix County is now charged with homicide.
The sheriff’s office says Brandon Lieffring was running from deputies in a stolen Jeep last weekend when he hit a motorcycle driven by Dustin Kalland near New Richmond, killing him. Yesterday Lieffring was charged with ten counts in the crash and chase including first-degree reckless homicide. He’s being held on 100-thousand-dollars bond.
