TWEET NOT SWEET IN LAX

The assistant police chief in La Crosse says the county’s justice system is a joke.

Assistant Chief Rob Abraham took to Twitter yesterday to express his frustration that judges in the county don’t keep anyone in jail.  Abraham pointed to the case of Ronald Crosby Jr., who was arrested over the weekend on a rape charge.

A judge released Crosby on a signature bond, police then re-arrested him for trying to intimidate the victim, and then a judge released Crosby again yesterday.  Abraham apologized to the people of La Crosse in a Tweet, he said he’s sorry the police cannot protect them better.
