Former Eau Claire County Treasurer Larry Lokken isn’t getting a break on his sentence for stealing from taxpayers.
An appeals court yesterday set aside Lokken’s appeal. Lokken challenged the sentence that required him to repay Eau Claire County or face a longer prison term. Lokken and his former deputy Kay Onarheim have to pay back almost 700-thousand-dollars.
