A semi truck driver is seriously hurt after a deer flew through his windshield in Buffalo County.
The sheriff’s office says an SUV was southbound on Highway 37 near Alma last Saturday afternoon when it hit a deer, causing it to be thrown through the nearby semi’s windshield driven by Tony McCray. McCray was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. He was the only person hurt in the crash.
