All eyes in Wisconsin’s budget debate are shifting to Governor Tony Evers.
The full legislature still has yet to vote on the 40 billion-dollar spending plan, but once they do it will head to the governor’s desk. The governor has not given any indication if he will sign the plan, veto the entire thing, or just veto parts of the budget. Republican lawmakers have said for a week or so that it’d be a mistake for the governor to veto the entire state budget.
