Marshfield schools are out over 650-thousand-dollars after getting scammed.
The school district yesterday admitted that someone gave banking information to a caller who posed as a vendor. That then lead to the scammers taking 660-thousand-dollars late last month. Marshfield Superintendent Ryan Christianson says they are working with the FBI to try and get the money back or find the scammers. He says the case should be a warning for everyone about privacy and security.
