A Mauston woman is in custody after being accused of imprisoning a woman and hitting her in the head with a bat.
A criminal complaint claims police in Juneau County were called about a woman bleeding from the head last Sunday. The victim told an officer that she was at Linda Heyroth’s house when she asked Heyroth to be quiet but she hit her in the head with a bat. She also claimed Heyroth trapped her in the house and she thought she was going to kill her.
Heyroth was eventually found on Monday and charged in the case. She’s being held on 75-thousand-dollars bond.
