A Boyceville man is avoiding jail time after pleading no contest to trying to meet a 15-year-old girl for sex.
A criminal complaint claims an undercover officer set up the encounter on Craigslist and Brandon Bien responded to it. He was arrested at the meeting place with lingerie and condoms. Bien pleaded no contest to one count of child enticement yesterday and was sentenced to four years of probation and either 30 days of jail or 240 hours of community service.
