For the first time in a decade the 2019 deer hunting season will not include any buck-only counties.
Those designations help protect the herds so they can thrive. The herds have increased in size in northwestern and southern areas of the state and today the Natural Resources Board approved guidelines for this year’s deer hunting season without buck-only restrictions.
