None of the UW campuses require students to be vaccinated for measles. Only one of the 13 campuses requires students to submit immunization records.
This means the majority of campuses are unable to say how many students are actually protected from the disease. Measles has spread across the country at a rate that hasn’t been seen in the last 25 years. The CDC is calling it one of the most contagious viral diseases.
