An Eau Claire sex offender is being sentenced to probation for cutting off his ankle bracelet.
Reports say Leigh Beebe reached a plea deal yesterday and pleaded no contest to not updating his information with the state. Beebe was previously convicted of third-degree sexual assault in Eau Claire in 2012 and was released in 2017. After his latest conviction he’s getting two years of probation tacked onto his sentence.
