“WATT” DID YOU SAY?

“WATT” DID YOU SAY?

Don’t be afraid to ask for help, and don’t be afraid to offer it.

JJ Watt told graduates at the University of Wisconsin Madison over the weekend that they need to look to each other as they head out into the real world.  Watt, who played football at UW but didn’t graduate, was the commencement speaker Saturday.  Watt told the graduating class of 2019 that the path to success will not be a straight one.

Watt also light up some faces around town. Reports say Watt was at American Family Children’s Hospital on Saturday where he signed footballs and visited with patients.  His visit came after giving the commencement speech at University of Wisconsin’s commencement ceremony.

Also from the weekend on campus, former U.S. Senator Herb Kohl is writing a huge check to the University of Wisconsin.  Kohl announced a 10 million-dollar donation over the weekend.  The money is being sent to the La Follette School of Public Affairs.  This is his second big donation to the school after he gave a million-and-a-half dollars to the La Follette School back in 2016.
