We now know names of those involved in a deadly accident in Washburn County. It was on Sunday afternoon, just after 2:30 when troopers responded to a three-vehicle crash on Boot Lake Rd. south of CTH B in the Township of Beaverbrook. A northbound pick-up truck collided into two southbound passenger cars.
A driver of one of the passenger cars, 23 year old Brett Tyler from Chetek received fatal injuries. The driver of the pick-up truck, 51 year old Donald Meyer from Chippewa Falls, received serious injuries and was transported by North Aircare to a hospital in Minnesota. 24 year old Trae Tyler from Rice Lake was uninjured. The crash remains under investigation.
