The Wisconsin Joint Finance Committee is putting the breaks on over 100 policies from Governor Tony Evers’ state budget.
Reports say the Republican-led committee voted eleven-to-four against 131 policies yesterday, forcing them to have to be brought up separately in the Legislature. Some of the policies rejected include Medicaid in Wisconsin, drivers licenses for illegal immigrants, and legalization of medical marijuana.
