A Rice Lake man is accused of squeezing a baby so hard he thought he broke it’s leg.
A criminal complaint claims Justin Ruthenberg took the nine-month-old girl to the hospital on April 30th and police say she had bruises on her face and bruises and hand prints on her leg. Ruthenberg said he forcibly held the baby down while he was changing her diaper and had skipped feeding her because she was fussy. Ruthenberg is charged with child abuse-intentionally causing harm and child neglect.
