A company in Chippewa Falls is building the world’s most powerful computer.
If you watched the news on WQOW, then you likely saw the reports that supercomputer company Cray is building the computer for a Tennessee based company and it’ll cost over 600-million dollars and weigh more than one-million pounds. The company’s CEO says the computer will be faster than the top 160 supercomputers in the world combined. It’s expected to be finished by 2021.
