A convicted Eau Claire County sex offender is getting probation after failing to update his address.
Reports say Nathaniel Hoyt was convicted of second-degree child sexual assault in 2001 but no one knew where he was from 2016 to 2018. Hoyt reached a plea deal earlier this week and pleaded no contest to failing to update his address. He was sentenced to 18 months on probation.
