About four months into the job, Governor Tony Evers is set to sign his first law.
The governor is expected to sign a law today that removes the words mental retardation from state statute. Lawmakers unanimously agreed to the change earlier this spring. It’s one of just three plans that lawmakers have sent to the governor for his signature.
