UW PER-STUDENT SPENDING

A new report says only three states have spent less per-student on college campuses over the past five years.

The State Higher Education Executive Officers Association says Wisconsin is spending a near-received record low on higher ed. The report says the state of Wisconsin spent about seven-thousand-dollars per student in 2013. Last year, the report said that numbers was closer to 64-hundred-dollars per student. Only Oklahoma, West Virginia and Mississippi spend less.
