LA CROSSE LOOKS TO SNUFF OUT SMOKING IN PARKS

You may soon not be allowed to light up in a city park in La Crosse.

The city’s park board already approved a ban on cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, and vape products.  The full city council will vote next.  Parks Director Jay Odegaard says the idea is to both promote a healthy lifestyle, and to save money by not having to clean-up cigarette butts in every park in the city.
