The Wisconsin National Guard is looking into 52 cases of sexual assault over a four year span, and the Air Force is looking for more that date back almost 20 years.
Guard commanders told reporters yesterday that the 53 cases were all reported from a Madison unit between 2013 and 2017. A sergeant in the Guard blew the whistle earlier this year after he said that commanders didn’t do enough to investigate the cases. The Air Force is looking into cases as far back as 2002.
