Eau Claire police promise this really happened. Officers got a shoplifting call from the city’s Walmart Wednesday night.
When they arrived, they found a mom doing karate in the front of the store, her adult son naked in the back of the store, and the family dog running all over the store. Officers arrested 46-year-old Lisa Smith and her 25-year-old son Benny Vann on a number of charges. Eau Claire police say they took the family dog Bo to a local animal shelter. He’s the only one not likely to be charged in the case.
