The Onalaska fire chief is facing drunk driving charges.
A police report says Billy Hayes was pulled over early Sunday morning and identified himself to police as the fire chief. Hayes later failed a field sobriety test and was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Hayes reportedly had a blood-alcohol level of point-one-three, over one-and-a-half times the legal limit.
