Governor Tony Evers says investing in public transit will be a game-changer for people across the state.
The governor today said his budget would increase general transit aids for local governments by ten-percent. It would also add three-million-dollars a year to increase transportation access for seniors and disabled travelers. Evers says public transportation gives people the opportunity to get around town that they might not have otherwise.
