A Holcombe woman is dead after an apparent overdose.
The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department says deputies were dispatched to 275th Avenue in Holcombe Sunday morning when they found 22-year-old Carissa Kasmeirski unconscious. Kasmeirski died on the way to the hospital and police say drugs were likely in her system. An autopsy took place yesterday to determine what drugs they were but the findings haven’t been released.
