A man accused of promising to do contract work then stealing people’s deposits is in custody.
Police say James Dorsey was arrested yesterday morning after a victim in Eau Claire claimed he paid Dorsey 600 dollars to clean snow off his roof but he never did. Dorsey was first accused of unfinished contract work in September when someone claimed they gave him two-thousand dollars for shingle work that he never did.
