Elizabeth Smart is helping the Barron community move forward after the kidnapping and return of Jayme Closs.
A fellow kidnapping survivor and child safety advocate spoke to the community Friday night at Barron High School, sharing her experience on the day marking five months since Closs originally went missing. Smart was abducted from her Salt Lake City home in 2002 when she was 14, and was missing for nine months.
