VACCINATION RATES VARY IN WI

Less kids are getting their early childhood vaccination in western Wisconsin than in any other part of the state. 

According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, 73-percent of Wisconsin kids under the age of two were vaccinated in 2017, but only 69-percent of kids in western Wisconsin got vaccinated.  That’s the lowest mark in any region of the state.  In Eau Claire, 74-percent of kids were fully vaccinated in 2017.  In La Crosse, 78-percent were vaccinated.
