Less kids are getting their early childhood vaccination in western Wisconsin than in any other part of the state.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, 73-percent of Wisconsin kids under the age of two were vaccinated in 2017, but only 69-percent of kids in western Wisconsin got vaccinated. That’s the lowest mark in any region of the state. In Eau Claire, 74-percent of kids were fully vaccinated in 2017. In La Crosse, 78-percent were vaccinated.
