Chippewa County Board Chairman Jared Zwiefelhofer is officially resigning next month. Multiple board members urged Zwiefelhofer to step down in recent days after he was convicted of three hunting citations in Burnett County.
Yesterday, Zwiefelhofer released a statement apologizing to all the citizens of Chippewa County for his actions. He plans to officially step down on March 12th.
