Senator Tammy Baldwin says she’s bringing a woman battling MS to tomorrow’s State of the Union address.
Baldwin says today Diane Whitcraft was taking the same medication for more than 23 years when prescription costs jumped to a point she could no longer afford. She stopped taking the medication in 2017. Baldwin says she’s heard from countless Wisconsinites who can’t afford the medications they have relied on for years and Whitcraft is an example that lower prescription drug costs are necessary.
