On Thursday, just after 11:30, an Officer from the Lake Hallie Police
Department was dispatched to a business located in the 1600 block of 109th Street. It was reported that an unknown female was causing a disturbance by yelling at an employee.
This employee reported that he was followed and then the female just started yelling at him. When the officer arrived, he observed that the female subject had drove her vehicle into the ditch and was now stuck and facing the wrong way to traffic.
The officer detected the strong odor of an intoxicant coming from her breath. Upon failing the Field Sobriety Tests, 61 year old Gloria J. Howell of the City of Eau Claire was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle while Intoxicated 5th Offense.
