United Cerebral Palsy’s new Youth Ambassador will emphasize a different disorder than in previous years. Trevor Sommer was born with a genetic deficiency that causes toxic levels of ammonia to build up in his blood. His mother says he will be able to show everyone he meets that being different can be wonderful as this year’s Youth Ambassador. Trevor plays baseball for the Chippewa Valley Miracle League and has participated in the Eau Claire marathon and Special Olympics.
