The Chippewa Falls City Council is considering closing a portion of an unused road in the city.
Last night the Board of Public Works considered the request to close Oxford Street between Lombard and Ludgate and plans to recommend that it be closed. Now the city council will consider it. If approved it will go to a public hearing and then it will be considered at a later meeting. The public works director says the road needs to be closed because it hasn’t been used for a long time.
