Retired Wisconsin public employees may see a drop in their pension payments.
The State of Wisconsin Investment Board reported a decrease in its preliminary 2018 year-end returns. That means for the first time in six years, those receiving pension payments in the state could see their check take a small hit. A spokesman for the Wisconsin Department of Employee Trust Funds says he anticipates either no change or a 0.5-percent decrease in the annuity payments for those participating in the Core Trust Fund.
