A winter storm warning is in effect for Madison. The warning covers Dane, Iowa, Grant, Richland, Jefferson, Crawford, Lafayette, Green, Rock, and Walworth Counties.
Juneau, Adams, Sauk, Columbia and Dodge counties are under a winter weather advisory. The winter storm warning is in effect until 6:00 am this morning. Weather experts say snow will then end, but extreme cold will remain. The next chance for snow is Tuesday.
