BARRON CO. SCHOOL PREPARES FOR POSSIBLE RETURN OF JAYME TO THE CLASSROOM

The Barron School District is discussing plans for the potential return of Jayme Closs to the classroom.  Officials brought in therapy dogs from Wausau the day after Jayme was found to help students deal with the trauma of the situation.

Officials say they are trying to help students feel safe again after the seemingly-random circumstances of the kidnapping and murders.

Officials with the U.S. Marine Corps say the suspect in Jayme Closs’ kidnapping and the murder of her parents washed out of Marine boot camp.  The Marines say Jake Patterson was prematurely discharged because of character issues.  The exact reason for his discharge is unclear.
