The man accused of running over and killing a group of Girl Scouts and a mother in Lake Hallie is facing new charges. WEAU reports 21-year-old Colten Treu was charged with four drug possession charges and another operating with a restricted controlled substance in blood charge yesterday in a separate crime that allegedly happened in Rusk County about a month before the deadly crash. Treu is charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle in Chippewa County in the Girl Scouts case.
