A new report says the NRA was a leader in election spending for state-wide and legislative seats in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Democracy Campaign says today the NRA spent just over one-million-dollars in 2018 on electioneering activities in the state.
Eighty-percent of the NRA spending in Wisconsin over the last 20 years went to support Republican Governor Scott Walker, including more than 940-thousand-dollars in his lost bid for re-election this past November.
